I have said it before, but here it is again…

I mentioned this in my previous posts, but this time I linked it to another blog since he even has examples: read out loud boys and girls.

Dear Malaysian Politicians

Just to add, I myself have witness several sad situations in markets. There was once where I saw an old man wondering about at the rice section in a supermarket. He kept taking AND putting back a bag of 5 kgs rice. There were concerns in his face. I know that the old man was in the process of making decision of whether to buy the rice or not. I was so sad since he was deciding not because he already had some stocks at home, but rather he is in shortage of money. If I had extra money back then, I would’ve helped him.

This makes me wonder how some us live extravagantly and yet claims that there are burdens on them and the people have to understand it when they push the burden to the ordinary people, whereas there are people like the old man who have to decide whether to buy rice or not due to finacial constraint. I am not saying he is the only one; look around you. I’m sure there are a lot of people like the old man. Other than that, in the year where even the great economy giants such as US and Japan are affected by the economic downturn, there is none at all in our daily newspaper mentioned anything about it. Is our country not affected? Our economic state is more powerful than US and Japan? There are no lay-off in our workers? All company is in stable conditions? Spit out the truth already. Everybody knows the economy is unstable, cut the crap about politics in the newspapers and show us the true condition of our country!!!!

that’s true because Malaysia too is affected by the economic down turn but our government did not expose the truth about our economy but instead tells the citizens about Malaysia is doing alright..dude please we’re the citizens are not stupid you know..we can understand…can you imagine RM 50 feels like RM 10 only…

  2. well, anyway, when rm50 feels like rm 10, i dunno what the old man feels when he is thinking buying the rice, do they really think that we actually fall for the phrase “ekonomi malaysia masih kukuh”, we may be not doing economics or accountancy or whatever, but we know what the real situation is right? wake up people~

khalid: just try to imagine how any of us would feel when we want something essential such as today’s lunch and yet we truly cannot afford it. That’s the feeling. I’ve been in the situation in Matrix and believe me, i know how s**ks that feeling was.
